Automating Compression of Digital Photos

Can anyone help me out with a way to create a script or something to automatically compress photos into JPEGs so that the file sizes shrink?

I took about 250 photos last week and people want them but the entire thing is over 250 MBs right now and I don't have the patience to do each one individually.

Anyone know how to make an applescript or folder action to do this or an app that does it?

Use could use a photoshop action.

Or you could use a Graphic Converter Batch.

Or you could AppleScript Graphic Converter

Or you could use a Debabelizer batch.

    Photoshop is probably the easiest.

    Step 1. Image Size

    Step 2. Save For Web

If you need more details let me know.
