    From Apple's support site:

[quote]There are several possible reasons why you are being prompted repeatedly to reinstall the iTools software. Below are several steps which resolve the most common reasons for experiencing this issue while using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser in Mac OS X. Be sure to follow these steps in order.

    1. Be sure you are using Mac OS X (10.1) or later. Visit <a href="http://www.apple.com/macosx/upgrade/"; target="_blank">http://www.apple.com/macosx/upgrade/</a>; for upgrade information.

    2. Make sure you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.1 or later. You can update to the most recent version of Internet Explorer using the Software Update pane in System Preferences.

    3. In the Microsoft Internet Explorer Preferences, do the following:

    - Verify Plug-ins and Scripting are enabled.

    - Verify Java is enabled.

    - Verify that the Security Zone is set no higher than "Medium".

    - Empty the browser cache.

    - Verify cookies are allowed.

    - Delete all cookies from the mac.com domain.

    - Click OK to save any changes and exit the Preferences window.

    4. Quit and and restart Microsoft Internet Explorer.

    5. Enter the address "www.apple.com" in the address bar. Once there, click on the iTools tab at the top of the screen. On the following screen, click the Login button on the right side of the page.

    6. On the Login Page, either enter your user name and password and click "Enter" if you have an account, or click the "Sign Up" button to create a new account. If you are unable to login or create a new account and you are taken to the "iTools: Get Started" page showing the three steps to install iTools, please continue to the next step.

    7. The iTools Plug-In is installed by default on Mac OS X. To verify that it is installed on your system, look in the Hard Drive&gt;Library&gt;Internet Plug-Ins folder for the iTools Plug-in. If the Plug-in is in this folder, no further Installation is necessary.

    8. If the iTools Plug-in is not present, delete all copies of the iTools Installer and download a new copy from the "iTools: Get Started" page. Then double-click the iTools Installer to install the iTools Plug-In.

    9. You will then be taken to a page to create a new iTools account. If not, or if you already have an iTools account, enter the address "www.apple.com" in the address bar. Once there, click on the iTools tab at the top of the screen. On the following screen, click Login, or select an iTools service to use. This will bring you to the Login page where you can login to an existing account or create a new account.

    10. If you still see the "iTools: Get Started" page then repeat the previous step.

The above steps will resolve this issue for most people. If the issue still remains please also complete the steps below.

? Since this issue is usually browser-based, it is important to attempt to access iTools using another web browser. You should attempt to access iTools using Netscape Communicator 4.7.X in Classic. Click here to view to the Netscape Login Loop FAQ.

? If none of these steps help to resolve your issue, please post to the iTools section of the iTools Discussions Forum. Be sure to include details about the troubleshooting steps you have taken, including the steps in this FAQ. Also include details about how you connect to the Internet, including type of connection, ISP, location, router and proxy server info (if applicable), and computer configuration.<hr></blockquote>
