Which plug-in do I need?

I am using Netscape 6.2.2 OSX and for a chat room I freuqent with other browsers, it says I need a plug-in. I click it, and it doesn't give me anything to download. Here is the link to the chat room, I would appreciate it if anyone using this browser could help me out:

<a href="http://www.baseballaddicts.net/pirates"; target="_blank">www.baseballaddicts.net/pirates</a>

click on "chat" on the left hand side near the top. There are 3 ways to enter the chatroom, and they all require the plug-in.

BTW, I am using Netscape becasue it is the only browser that will load several pages I have to go to on a regular basis. I have had LOTS of headaches with IE, and OmniWeb is a little better, but it is just way too slow for me.

    Does going directly to this URL result in the same message?

    <a href="http://www.onlybucs.net/html/chatpage1.html"; target="_blank">http://www.onlybucs.net/html/chatpage1.html</a>;

    It appears to be Java not a plugin...

    Hope this helps.

    I still get a broken picture and "click here to get the plug-in." I've had trouble with chat rooms and other similar things (like registering for classes on the web) with OSX. It is buggy in IE (the browser always freezes on the chat and I always "time out" in the registration process), OmniWeb is dog slow and sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, and Netscape needs the plug-in.

    Everything works fine with IE in OS9 which is how I had to regsiter for classes and usually have to boot into 9 for the chat as well, which is annoying. You are right that it is Java, the chat link works when I use the Applet Launcher built into OSX, but it doesn't play sounds in chat and it doesn't help me with registering for classes (I would post that link, but you need a student ID and password to get to it for that and I don't want to post that info). When I go to the Netscape plug-in page, it tells you which plug-ins you have and don't have, and it does list java, but I couldn't find anywhere there or on the java website about downloading a version for OSX.

    Boy I just wish SOMEONE would come out with a COMPLETE browser for X. Netscape would be it if I could get this to work.

    Boy what a surprise...Netscape 7 didn't fix a thing...see, this is why I am considering getting a Windows computer. I am NOT abbandoning Mac, but I have 3 browsers on my computer, and none of them do everything I want...IE does the chat I am having with, but the computer freezes every time I am in chat and won't always load some pages, OmniWeb is the slowest thing on the face of the earth, and Netscape has this problem. I love my Mac, but buying a PC for my web surfing is VERY tempting at this point.

    Only difference this time is that when I "click to get the plug-in" it takes me to a page to make my own chat room, which I do not want to do...I just want this one to work! If someone could help me you could save me a couple grand...

    Nope, that didn't help either. Still the same thing.
