Internet Explorer fonts in OS X.

I just upgraded to OS X (10.1.5) and my IE 5.1 has a font issue. Below the "address bar" are the words "Apple Computer" etc. There are like quick link buttons. Problem is the font looks grainy. What gives and how do I fix this? Anybody else seen this? I can post a screen shot if it helps. Thx.

It may be quartz effect, because of the small lettering on the favs bar. if you don't like the effect you could always turn quartz off in the preferences under interface extras.

I'm guessing since i can't see your screen. Give it a try maybe. I like quartz, it just sucks on smaller font sizes(8 and below) IMO

Okay, that didn't work I don't have that setting in IE. Here is a picture of what I'm talking about....

I am in the process of downloading the new 5.2 (I'm using 5.1) maybe that will help....

i sort of see what you're saying. Maybe do yourself a favor and just hide the favorites bar under view in the menu
