How to "clone" user
There may be a simple answer to this question, but I wanted to find the best way to do the following:
I have an iBook with a user for myself and one for my wife. We may be purchasing a TiBook  , and I would like to just move my user directory (everything) over to the new TiBook.
Would using target disk mode and just dragging my home directory over to the other computer work?

Anyone tried this?
- Boot into Os 9
- duplicate your User folder
- boot back into OS 10
- go to sys. prefs
- add another user with same name
- log out
not sure if I understood you correctly...
Thanks.
Target Disk Mode should work, because I've used it before and it seems to ignore permissions on the target disk.

that'll work too, yeah
