Anything cheaper than Airport?

Hi!



What are the cheaper alternatives to Airport? I need to connect my new iMac to a common Ethernet network but I'd prefer a wireless connection. Any advice?

    There's a Linksys wireless router that's cheaper, but they don't support Mac and it's a bit of a pain to configure. There's also a Netgear model, but I don't have any experience with it.

    The Buffalo AirStation is a cheaper alternative to the Apple AirPort base station. The web address is <a href="http://www.buffalotech.com"; target="_blank">www.buffalotech.com</a> A review can be found at <a href="http://www.macuser.co.uk"; target="_blank">www.macuser.co.uk</a> (free registration required, search for airstation on website). It costs approx. £160, £100 cheaper than the AirPort base station. It still requires an AirPort card in the Mac, but then so does the AirPort base station.
