An idiot asking a question here!

I'm ready to install iTunes 3 and the ReadMe file insists that I delete the older version.

What will happen to my libraries? My 6.46GB of songs? That's a lot of borrowed and owned CDs and DL'ed MP3s. I'm assuming the iTunes Library will be unaffected by deleting only the iTunes prog. Will the library (under documents/itunes/music library) truly be all fun and happy?

Please show patience, understanding, slight amusement and gracious knowledge.

Gabe

I'm not sure if its necessary, but I deleted the iTunes program and the music library (but NOT the MP3 files themselves!). Having installed iTunes 3, I then reimported all the MP3s into the new library. Under iTunes 3, the music library appeared in the music/itunes folder (the music folder being where I keep the MP3 files) and not the documents/itunes folder.
