128-bit WEP, an additional ethernet port, support for 50 users, RADIUS remote dial-in support, Cisco LEAP client support. I can't think of anything else right now

maybe the more important question...if you are a home use and only want to serve 2 desktops and maybe 2 portables, is there really any difference in use/ability?? if you don't need a second ethernet connection, do you really need the extra encryption??? the white is prettier, but the silver is half the price (and similar in price to other units out there)....g

isn't the orginal silver and the new white??

Yeah, I suppose the old basestation isn't so bad for many users. I don't use any encryption on my basestation at all, but I live in an area where next-door neighbors are >100 feet away

If I was able to order the base station online when I got it (long story why I couldn't) then I would've gotten the old one. As long as you don't need that extra crap why spend the money?
