Swapping a SuperDrive for a CD-RW?

Hiyo!

I'm wondering if I can swap out my SuperDrive in my QSPMG4 for a fast CD-RW (like a TDK VeloCD that I already own from a WinDoze box).

I know it can hook up just fine, but will iTunes "see" it? Or would I just have to use Toast Ti?

Thanks in advance!

Why not just put that CDRW in a firewire box? I'm not sure if it can be done (I think it can) or where you would get the parts..but I'm sure someone here knows.

Yeah that can be done.. My Apple store sells the Boxs that you install the drive in. They are around $200 AU which you could get for $75-125USD...
