Each time I open the hard drive contents in OSX I have to resize it everytime to show everything - the wondow opens up small everytime (in the OS9 style folder view) is there a way in OSX to stop this happening - as everytime I have to resize the window free from scroll bars.

[grumble, grumble. Damn it, Jamie, I was in the middle of responding when you closed the thread in software. ]

    Anyway,

This is one of the most annoying things about OS X. To get a window to remember how it's supposed to look, you have to:

    1) Make sure it's closed to start.

    2) Open it.

    3) Resize it, move it, pick the view you want.

    4) Close it without doing anything to it other than that.

    5) It should remember that position and size from now on.

-t, who's smart enough to copy and paste rather than retype.

I see that this works - yes - thanks very very much for this - However i then notice that if you return to OS9 and then return to OSX it shifts again and needs resizing.

Annoying isnt it - I hope Jaguar fixes this.
