Perfect Harddrive

Can I clone my OSX Hard Drive? I occassionally like to do this so that if I have problems I can just switch to a back up drive?

you could always make a disc image of it and then have the disc image to restore if any problems occur

I've heard good things about the <a href="http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=13260&db=mac"; target="_blank">Carbon Copy Cloner</a> app that, well, copies OS X installs to another drive/partition.

that is the utility to get, it is a GUI for a UNIX thing called ditto. it works really well! <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

Does anybody else with CCC have problems when it tries to copy Virtual PC? Other than that Carbon Copy Cloner works quite well. I usually leave my computer alone when it's working though. I heard it could get grumpy if you have it in the background while working on other stuff.

Why would Carbon Copy Cloner have problems when it tries to copy Virtual PC?

Trick Fall or anyone else, have you successfully copied VPC with CCC?
