Tuning OSX..
My Norton doesn't see any drives now that I upgraded to 10.2 - anyone else have this problem?
Also - I see some ppl doing it.. what is the final word on running Norton from OS9 to repair/tune/speed disk an OSX partition?

If I should have posted this in Genius Bar - apologies. I just realized it may have been better addressed there.

the final word is:
don't do it! it can screw up your x pretty bad.
get a utility that is built for x.
no, i don't know any - for i didn't need any 'till now.
i stick with a good backup and a "springcleaning" once in a while.

Same here. Norton 7.01 does not work with 10.2
Am expecting a fix from Symantec eventually.
Here's their tech note:

I spoke to Symantec after very strange things happened on installing systemworks. They said their suite is NOT compatible with 10.2.
but would be by September... Aparently the earlier than expected release of Jaguar caught them out.
