I'm running 10.1 and keep getting disconnected because of lack of network activity, I know this shouldn't happen with ADSL but I can't find how to turn it off where was that checkbox you found?

    If you use PPPoP with your ADSL (that's what my ADSL service uses), click the PPPoE Options button in the PPPoE tab of the Network prefs pane.
