have i lost mail?

i copied the folder "mail" out of the home library and imported them later on another mac. (both mac's use "mail" with jagwire)



import looked like it worked - but there are no mails there.



are the mails stored in another place?

    library - mail - there you have the folder "mailboxes" .. and the mailboxes are as .mbox



    did you compy those?



    i hav had t copy them to cd as well sometimes.. copying them as .mbox and then dragging to equivalent folder should do it...

    my new job is hell.

    no, no. it's gonna be better once i've cleaned up the mess i found.



    loads of weird people with weird problems.

    i've had tons of mac's and never had the problems my customers have.



    but beside that - my life is great!
