Firmware Update for iBook

I own the first dual usb iBook (500) DVD.



I'd like to find the firmware but on apple's website, there seems to be a confusion between the different revisions of the iBook.



Can someone tell me where I can find the firmware update? (If there is one)

    you'll find the firmware also on the installer cd of Jaguar.

    You sure it's the correct one on the Jaguar CD?



    I tried installing it but it says I don't have the right iBook so I assume it is for the older iBook.



    Also,

    How are firmwares to be installed on the non 9 bootable computers?

    well, then it's probably for the newer, not the older.



    search <a href="http://www.apple.com/support"; target="_blank">http://www.apple.com/support</a>; for firmware updates.



    I don't know how they're gonna install firmware updates on the new PB. probably a installer for 10.
