Where can I get a cheap Mac-compatible USB-PCI card?

My grandfather's PowerMac 7200 is plugging along fine, but his ancient laser printer just died and it's going in to be recycled. He wants a new printer and so I'm guessing he'll need a USB PCI card. Where can I find one that is both inexpensive and Mac-compatible? I know that various companies sell them for $5 or $10 or whatever but of course we have to pay the Mac tax... maybe eBay? Or is there a particular retailer or brand you'd recommend? Thanks.

    Well, I currently am using a USB 2.0 card in my Beige G3 that did not say anythign about Macintosh compatibility. Of course that will cost you a lot more than you are wanting to pay, but I think some cards will work. (At least I got lucky on this one) I *think* it is an adaptec. Of course, <a href="http://www.dealmac.com"; target="_blank">http://www.dealmac.com</a>; is the place to go. I *think* (don't quote me on this one) I saw one there a few days ago in the area of 15 bucks... ***Heads over to dealmac...***

    Here you go. Found it in a couple seconds searching Dealmac. A usb 2.0 card for 14 bucks.

    Hope that helps!<a href="http://www.dvcentury.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=DVC&Product_Cod e=00-UB-205++%28Detail+Specs%29" target="_blank">Click Here</a>

    **Edit. Changed link to clickable link so it wouldn't ruin the formatting of the page. Also, it is 14 bucks not 15 hehe.***

    Just checked eBay and it looks like there are a lot more mac compatible cards out there than I originally thought. I think a lot of PC parts companies make them and they just happen to work on Macs too. I was cautious because I know a $5 10base-T NIC a friend got at a computer show didn't work in a Mac of mine.

    there are some forums at anandtech which go crazy over deals and thngs. u can check them out. u can even make requests. try <a href="http://forums.anandtech.com/"; target="_blank">http://forums.anandtech.com/</a>; and see if u can find anything. the only thng to note is a lot of the deals often require one to find hidden coupons.
