iTunes doesn't see my iPod after DiskWarrior fixed it

I had a power outage and after that I decided to check all my drives in Disk Util. My iPod needed repairing but in X and 9 Disk First Aid/Util repaired it but didn't really repair it. It said it need to be repaired afterwards each time, so I pulled out the big guns, DiskWarrior 2.1. It fixed it but now iTunes doesn't see my iPod. WTF? It still plays on its on, mounts on the Desktop, and is perfectly accessible by other apps. What happened to iTunes?

I'd try doing a Software Restore from the Updater.

yes, deleting your whole iPod with the iPod Software Updater should work.

And be sure to tell both Apple and Alsoft about your experience so they can fix the bug(s).

I don't think it's a bug: iPods are set up so that all the music folders are hidden from the OS to stop you mounting it as a Firewire drive and copying all the tracks to another computer: file repair apps will break that, so the msuic-playing side won't work any more.

I seem to recall reading when I first got my iPod that the instructions specifically stated that you shouldn't run any sort of disk repair utility on it.
