Traveling to UK

I have an iBook that will be traveling with a professor to the UK for about 6 months. I know that power is not an issue but I do not know about the modem. I went to amazon.co.uk and looked for a modem (USB) that would work for a mac but could not find one. Any hints? Will the iBook's modem work?

    yes, the iBook's modem will work- it has nothing to do with the modem; more with the jack of it. Maybe you'll need to buy a converter when you're in the UK.

    But sure is that you're able to use the internal modem of the iBook.
