I'm finally in!! Just got my 5GB refurb iPod today! I just need a case for it...maybe a groove jacket or something. I don't want to cover up the iPod's beauty
I guess I'm 67 and 68. Bought 2 of the 5's a while back from the education store. Use them for research as well as personal enjoyment. Incredible machines; if you've got the bucks to spare, buy the etymotic earbuds from headroom.com. Incredible sounds, well worth the money.
what happened... sold it or it broke... if it broke then it doesnt count as -1 as you still own an iPod, albiet a non-functioning one
sorry to joke around with the loss of a loved one <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" /> <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" />
Although, I bought it the week of release. I just noticed this thread, also. Obviously, it is a 5GB model, and it has more scratches than I would prefer (I prefer FLAWLESS). Not too bad though...I have taken good care of it. Usually, it stay attached to my computer to save my music collection (now way over 5GB..so a lot of my colection) off my computer's HD. It is great, and I use it on trips and while working or studying a lot. GO iPOD!!

well right now a friend has agreed to help me out with the rebate. he bought an iMac G4/800 and had no interest in an iPod.
But my brother may buy an iBook since he decided to go to a public HS and also received a scholarship grant yesterday.
