Cleaning the iPod nav wheel!

I don't have an ipod, so i don't really know how much space there is between the wheel and machine, but i can only assume that the last thing you need is eraser bits clogging up the wheel.
And I thought the iBook was scratch prone...

The wheel pops off just like key caps. I use a really thin knife to slip it under the groove, and tease it off. It will go back on without any problems.
