Does anyone know if this satellite has been launched? It was scheduled to go up/out in October, 2001.

That would be plenty revolutionary, wouldn't it?

IF they did launch a satellite, they're being pretty quiet about it.

PPS: And if a specific orbit was required which was time specific to the shuttle above us right now, then wouldn't that justify moving the keynote speech?

All the imaginary pieces are coming together in a bout of sheer fantasy!

    Hmm. Two possible anwswers:

    1) The news of it simply wasn't important enough in the still-hot news of Sept 11.

    2) It didn't work. No need to publicize failures right:?

Or everyone involved is under a non-disclosure agreement, or the testing is still undergoing.

I don't know, and I'm not hanging my hat on this with a chip on my shoulder just daring anyone to mosey on up and knock it off.

    I'm just curious.
