What the...? I don't get it when "people" vomit this. I could understand the previous sentence, but the bolded part has nothing to do with it.

Something seems strange with these most recent leaks. The device almost looks like its not completely put together; like someone could completely pop the back off. I can't imagine Apple is going to start making phones with removable batteries or anything like that. I still question most of these leaks because I don't trust anything that shows up on some Chinese website.
why do people still make the stupid move of taking a video in portrait? every bloody TV/computer screen has always been naturally in landscape since .. always.

As far as I can tell, it's just this video because it is obviously a fake, no? I mean, it clearly looks like an iPhone or iPod with a "plastic case".
A low-quality video posted to a Chinese website on Monday offers what is purported to be one of the first looks at a working version of Apple's rumored low-cost "iPhone 5C," with the device shown navigating the Online Apple Store with iOS 7's Safari app.

Rendering of iPhone 5C in white.

Due to the video's low quality and somewhat questionable content, AppleInsider cannot vouch for its authenticity and offers the following for purposes of discussion.
Not much can be gleaned from the roughly 50-second video, though the handset in question appears to sport a red or pink plastic shell, one of the features industry watchers expect to see in the iPhone 5C. At first glance, only the bright backlit screen can be made out from the grainy image, though a closer look reveals both an ear speaker and front-facing camera aligned in much the same way as Apple's current-generation iPhone 5.
Only one app, Safari, is highlighted in the clip, while browsing is limited to Apple's webpage. The handset appears to be operating on a Wi-Fi, as a plane icon indicating Airplane Mode can barely be made out at the top left corner of the screen next to what are assumedly connection status bars. Page loading speed, scrolling and gesture input all seem to be in line with current generation technology, in line with analyst predictions that the 5C will forego high-end internals to keep build costs down.
Also seen on the right hand portion of the device's screen is Apple's AssistiveTouch icon, an accessibility feature built into iOS meant to help with UI navigation.
It should be noted that the rumored 5C's design is thought to be very similar to Apple's current iPhone, meaning the video may simply show a "hybridized" handset with the internals of an iPhone 5 running iOS 7 beta shoehorned into a "leaked" plastic shell. Previous images of the plastic casing have shown minute differences from the iPhone 5's aluminum back, such as screw anchor placement for the logic board, implying that an internal component swap out would be difficult to execute cleanly.
He doesn't need to be the CEO. Just Senior Vice President of Car Engineering or something so he will be focused on inventing things than working as CEO like oversee everything, micro managing, negotiate with partners and carriers, etc etc. His skills and talent will get wasted being Apple's CEO. Even if he's after legacy, recognition or spotlight, he'll get that a lot working as SVP at Apple.
One can dream...but Elon would never take a "job" at Apple. He's too talented, has too much of an entrepreneurial spirit, and has so much more room to grow his ideas and influence outside of Apple. I don't like to make Steve Jobs comparisons but, in my view, Elon is the closest thing we've got to Jobs nowadays. Can you imagine Steve going to work for someone else?
Not to mention that Tesla's market cap is about 20 billion dollars. Add a 20% premium to that and it would be a huge expense even for Apple's massive cash pile to absorb. Within the next 10-15 years, and as Apple explores more markets, we're likely to see them license some of Tesla's battery and other IP and develop a car in-house.
IF Apple were able to acquire Tesla, Elon would be associated with them only as long as it takes to put a new car engineering management team in place and take a seat on Apple's BOD.
Web browsing on an iPhone has never been a fun experience...for me at least. I like having a full screen, multi-window experience on a Mac much much more!!
I find that the text on the iPhone in Safari is too small to read, and you have to constantly zoom and pan around the page like this guy is doing....it's not very much fun!

So... 4" is smaller than 27"? No way! Your point is that bigger screens are better for browsing, especially on phones. I get that and totally agree. Only those ignorants and deniers can't see that.
Of course, I also believe that only Apple could trully improve that. Safari is so much better than chrome, especially in mobile, and iOS is just a better OS.
Apple only needs a bigger screen to improve browsing. Google would need a better OS and browser. If only most high end tech buyers (especially smartphones, all of samsung s4 owners for example) wouldn't be so ignorants about tech and/or spoiled brats, most buy something like the iPhone just because of the logo (I'm not arguing that the iPhone isn't the best smartphone by a mile, it is), Apple would be forced to have another iPhone line with a bigger screen to complement the current line.
Everyone would win (besides high end android devices, that would take a beating).
Doesn't touch the touch button or any other of the UI features etc. Why not? To cover it's not really running iOS 7 as a new model most likely would be. To cover that it was a clever fake running a video perhaps.
I buy this is legit based off a blurry video from the land of knockoffs.
Am I the only one that finds the iPhone 5C ugly? They could have designed it like the rear of the new iPod at least or similar to that. I think Apple is running out of ideas.
Unless you are being sarcastic this is an idiotic thing to say. The iPhone 5c is almost the exact same shape as the new iPod touch. It is therefore by definition "similar" to the iPod touch. it is ever so slightly deeper/thicker and made out of a different material.
Additionally, how would making it exactly the same as the iPod touch be more original than making it a different shape? Your claim is that they are "running out of ideas" because they fail to make something exactly the same? That makes sense how?

Unlikely. A user removable battery means having a shell around the battery to protect it from puncture and thus possible thermal events. And adding mechanics to pop out/hold in the battery. Both would require either making the phone bigger or reducing the battery size. And thus the life. Battery life is the one spec most folks get, which is why Apple doesn't like to tamper with it.

It's usually just 7 days in advance, right? We should be seeing reports of invitations maybe tomorrow for the September 10th event.
Wouldn't airplane mode kill all data connections including wifi?

How will Apple ever survive the 'leak' that the C will actually support web browsing??!!
Earth shattering news!,

Video doesn't play for me even with ad blocking, cookie tracking etc. turned off.
