Doom and gloom? That's what I'm seeing on twitter from several tech journalists. Apple stores will be madness on Friday. I have the day off so I might just drop by one of them to see what it's like.
Strange that the supposed image of the 5s unboxing should leave the 5s' home button - the only part of the front of the 5s that's easily distinguishable from the front of a white iPhone 5 - cut off the bottom of the screen.

Thx I was just about to amend that post...it was only cut off in the pic AI featured. Guess this is a legitimately unscrupulous employee's work and not fake then.

Ignoring the iPhone 4, 4S, and 5, of course…
Not that I wouldn’t have preferred the same box style.
So, is that small adapter so you can use your own USB cable or are there some other uses?
It’s the Lightning to MicroUSB for whiny Europeans.
I just used my iphone to watch a video unboxing of an iPhone that was recorded using an iPhone.
Am I the Morton salt girl now?
Were you being recorded with an iPhone while you were watching the video?

Alert the media!

I like how they made it purposely ridiculous looking (and easy to lose), just to illustrate how dumbass the "edict" is in the first place.
Sorry, completely OT. Yes, the Micro USB is indeed required in the EU. Good thing it was never the Europeans requesting this.
Probably more shenanigans at the Chinese factory. Nowhereelse.fr is probably paying reward money for violating confidentiality agreements.

That’s a nice phrase; I like that.
