So was your intent to waste time with an absolutely pathetic post or did you have an actual purpose for being here?

Things I'd like before I'd buy one.

    1. Need to be able to see what is on my phone's screen from the Glass, i.e. stream like airplay to the glass.

    2. Needs to work with iPhone or as stand-alone, i.e. I'm not going to get an Android phone.

    3. Needs to be able to take input from other device like cellphone or watch.  How about a tiny band with accelerometer on my wrist or ring-finger?

The article didn't mention the excellent food available after the demo.  Great meatballs, cake, cookies, fancy alcohol-free drinks.

Things I'd like before I even consider one. Don't send any data to Google server. Period.

    Other notes:
It would be nice if I could add glass-specific web pages to my server, much like we have Mobile-specific web pages now.

That will be out of business in no time.

Why diss in everything google does? I don't get it. This is not a bad product for a first iteration. Other companies can make good products too IMHO.

We diss it because it's not a product for us. It's a product for Google to suck all of our data from us.

As much as your pathetic posts.  No idea why you are raging so much.  I made some good valid observations unlike your blithering for the sake of upping your post count.  I like some of the things you say, but obviously you don't seem to read what others have to say.  Each to their own I guess.  Tough guys on forums, all of us.

    :)

Lol okay, but if you slap me I will press charges.

You presses any charge you want, I will punch you anyway and hope to God the court will see the light that this device is an invasion to my privacy.

In fact, most of us don't seem to care and are at the point where convenience outweighs even of the thought of retaining privacy.

This's why Google stock has grown so much in recent years. Nobody cares.
There are so many more idiotic comments to make fun of, but I have to go make love to my wife instead of this.  Be back later....

Good idea. I'll do a few too. :)

Probably because that isn’t happening? What was the point of your post?

Let me see if I can break it down...

...this is not something new... ...for decades the human body has tried to deal with this type/style of technology to varying degrees of success.
It's not news that people don't like Glass

If the high end techies and early adopters show us how great it is then it will ride a wave of the masses following.  What a crock of shit of a statement that is.
There's no evidence to suggest popularity will increase over time; some things just die

    ...soldier on Google.
At least they're trying, I guess

We are all delusional in thinking that we will have or maintain our existing levels of privacy
Privacy won't be the main limiting factor to adoption of Glass

...I have to go make love to my wife instead of this...

    Best to ignore this outburst

    It happens all the time.

This is exactly what I'm saying.  And yes, that happens for Apple products too.  It's a stupid problem to have.

You're one of the more balanced posters in these forums, but you should have thought this one through.  As the father of a teenager who has ASD, your implication that people with autism aren't normal is offensive, whether it was meant as a joke or not.  You are aware that there is likely a 100% probability that there are members of this forum who are autistic?

So you think autism is a joke and autistic people can be used as a punch line for something you want to mock?

I wonder when the first #Glasshole will sue Google for causing them to step into an open manhole.

Or for causing them to get hit by a bus.  It's bound to happen.

Thankfully, the rest of the sane world doesn't have America's ridiculously litigious culture.  It's what will sink you guys in due course.  Just watch what all those patent suits do to innovation in the USA over time.

It's early days and people are still discovering the limits of this technology.  And those limits will include the social boundaries of using such a device.

Good on Google for getting the conversation started.  And really, in the grand scheme of things, the entire Glass project is probably a rounding error on Google's balance sheet.

I could see a scenario where it's not always worn but worn in certain circumstance.  Wear it when driving.  Wear it when high productivity is important, around the office, etc.  Over time, I can see etiquette developing around wearing glass, the same way there is etiquette today in toting a smartphone.

Oh heavens no, this wasn't my intention at all. Sorry for my total misuse of, well, misplaced, well, sorry. I can't take back what I wrote, and I stand corrected.
