iChat question...

OK..nice little app but how do you find anyone?!

For example: to go to the AppleInsider room, just go File>Go To Chat... and type in appleinsider.

Where do I find a list of other current rooms to chat in?

What about a list of current users?

Any ideas?

Well... the thing about iChat is that it's not really an AIM client... it's an "AIM-compatible" client, which is different. So it doesn't have all the features normal AIM clients would have, it simply allows you to talk to people on the AIM system.

However, using iChat via Rendezvous is different... anybody on the network will show up in your list automatically.

This is another way that iChat sucks.

The 'chat room' feature would be nice, but it's not something I use often anyway. I'm quite happy with iChat, but I'll be happier when the next version comes out.

Personally, I am looking forward to the video conferencing feature.. perhaps available in iChat 2?
