Not upgrade Mac OS x version 10.7.5 to 10.8.4

hello sir,

 

          We have mac mini and installed OS X 10.7.5.. Now we want to upgrade 10.8.4..

 

          But it is not updated.. there is no option to upgrade my OS X..

 

          We have check in new software update... but it show me it is up-to-date...

 

           But my OS X  is 10.7.5...

 

          Please tell me what we do to upgrade my OS X 10.8.4??

    Welcome. 

     

    To get from 10.7 to 10.8, you have to buy the software. You can buy Mountain Lion (10.8) from the Mac App Store directly on your computer.

    We purchased MAC OS X 10.8.5 but not installed in my MAC mini OS X 10.7.5

     

    downloading from here:

    https://itunes.apple.com/in/app/id537386512?mt=12

     

    It seems to download symbol but nothing to download

     

    Please give me guideline how to download and installed?

    You can’t download Mountain Lion anymore. Mavericks, however, is free. Think of the $20 you just wasted as the cost for Mavericks.

    But i want to upgrade Xcode 5, when i m installing then it gives message Upgrade your MAC OS X 10.7.5 to MAC OS X 10.8.5

     

    Now what we do now?

    Three steps:
    1. Get the free upgrade to OS X Mavericks.
    2. Get the free upgrade to the latest version of Xcode 5.
    3. There is no Step 3.

    The first step will be to install 10.8.5, then. Go by these instructions.
