I fully admit I stole this idea from a poster on MacSlash but check this out:

What do you think as a new iDevice

Who's going to spend $300 for a clock? Even an Apple clock, with PDA functions and a speaker and all that snazzy stuff, is still a clock. I'd rather get an alarm clock for $10, a used PDA for $60, and a PowerMac 7200 w/ monitor for iTunes streaming for $50.

That would be more frivolous than the Cube enclosure. That would flop.

Think what people WANT. PDAs, cell phones, digital cameras, laptops, webpads, wireless internet/email/webbrowsing/filesharing/printing/etc. Think of how Apple can accomplish these things.

Apple needs to make something like <a href="http://www.sharperimage.com/us/en/catalog/productview.jhtml?pid=48252200&pcatid=22&catid=22"; target="_blank">this</a> and have features that tie in with Address Book (for caller ID) and iCal (important dates). And sell it for only slightly more than listed at that web site.

Ever heard of the Bose Wave Radio? That thing costs a ton and this is way better.

It really is more of an internet appliance and ideally would be really cheap. It also performs the functions of an Audiotron and people pay $250 for that...
