I'm waiting patiently for iDVD3 as I've got some projects on hold and I want those cool new themes and chapters That'll be sooooo good.
<Turn on sarcasm radar>
It's just such a pity I spent all that cash on an underpowered iMac800 15"...I can't do anything with it it's so pathetic. How I wish I'd bought a Dell

It's not exactly fast, but okay, I guess.

Are you going to let us in on where you got it? How about a copy

Go get it at the AppleStore. It's out in 5 days, you'll have it in 7 - 10.

Err..Why? The Digital Hub forum is for 'Discussion of digital peripherals and the iApps, including iLife.' I think that includes this subject..perhaps I'm wrong.

Already have...just that being an AI member I want my hands on it sooner
Oh no... nothing wrong about the subject of iPhoto... just something smacks of illicite program gathering when it comes to "Where can I get a copy before its released"?
Didn't they frown on it when it came to 10.2.3? Shouldn't they frown on it when it comes to stuff like this? I kinda do...

I suppose you've got point.
But the again I've paid for iLife so it's not as if I'm robbing them, and I'm only after iPhoto2 or iMovie3..both of which will be freely available. Is it that much different from downloading something for a friend and, say, shoving it on a CD for them?
] [quote]God, I hope iPhoto 2 is quicker. Did you notice that it is quicker Chucker?

And that's partly why I'm after iPhoto2 quite bad. I've already divided my library into several different ones and my main one which has 1500+ 2megapixel pics is so wretchedly slow. Stuff the one-click-enhance, I want speed

How about "no".
MacMan: it is quicker, but not really "fast". But performance is always subjective...
ooh oh...I've breached protocol

Now this is what I was after.. the new stuff that's in the Apps. Jobs covered quite a bit on the new apps but I wonder how much more there is. Like in iMovie you could only export MP4 video and had to stick with stuff like QDesign for the Audio..bit messy really. And is there any support for multiple libaries in iPhoto?
You're right... the fewer steps needed to anything that involves any of the other iApps will be an increase in speed.
For me, at least, just opening iTunes means my machine will be twice as slow... That's an increase, of a sort...
Of course, maybe the delay is because they are trying to incorporate seamless linking of Keynote within all the various iApps...
Ooohhh... easy use of iToons over multiple slides... Edit your iMovie and it shows up in Keynote where you put its last version...
Keynote themes and how to build them in iPhoto...
And iDVD? Well... maybe it would be able to incorporate a keynote presentation(?) as a slideshow/movie
Who knows... maybe it is because iLife requires components of the (rumored) 10.2.4 software, and they are trying to incorporate fixzes in the (rumored) 10.2.4 software to fix the various bugs in Keynote...
Who knows..

Available soon from the Apple Store.

Well thats as cloe as confirmed as you get
I hope that they will..but if they're not there must be some serious bug I suppose. I can wait though..just wouldn't mind all those new themes in iDVD..and poking around aall the new corners of the new apps
