    At $900 thank goodness.

I'm not really into the whole Wireless kick. Perhaps because I don't own any Wireless capable computers yet. I think Wireless just drives the price up too much.

What I'd like to see is a Digital Hub device that leverages existing home infrastructure with Wireless capabilities as an option.

I'd like to see a DH device which.

    1. Supports HPNA for standard phoneline networking.

    2. Wireless as an option.

    3. Firewire and USB connectivity as well.

    4. Rendezvous support.

    5. Built in CDRW

    6. .Mac features.

Now why can't Apple do something like that? If it were priced between $500 and 800 (maybe a little more initially, like the iPod), and maybe sacrificed a thing or two, and was in the Apple style, not to mention had the Apple brand ease of use and integration, I think it would be a wonderful product.

Wouldn't Apple just roll this into a Mac? Seems like an extra step to me.
