Are there any things to control iTunes from the dock?

I'm looking to make iTunes controllable from the dock. I know that you can just right click it to get a bunch of options, but I want something a bit more powerful. Today I tried using TinkerTool to pin the dock on the left side of the screen (along the bottom edge) and I put the minimized iTunes window in the resulting space along the bottom edge on the right side. It worked, but there are certainly better solutions... can I get a little program that adds another dock for controlling iTunes or something, or possibly something that puts play/pause, next song, previous song, and song display buttons in the dock? Something that allows me to run iTunes in the big window but still have easy access to controls from any program.

<a href="http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=17100&db=mac"; target="_blank">Synergy</a> goes into that direction, but with programmable hotkeys and icons in the menubar. try it out !

    I like PTH iTunesNotifier.

It uses hotkeys and a menu extra with controls for play/pause, back and forth, along with a floating window that can fade in and out on song transitions like the song id's on MTV.

Version 2.0 has just been released, and it's a almost total rewrite.

I also used PTH iTunesNotifier until 2.0 came out.

The Interface of it (2.0) is just a complete mess, and it doesn't support two monitors, so it fell out of luck.

And, it still has a small display-bug in it.

But I really like Synergy. small & cool.
