hello!

nicole kidman and robbie williams singing "somethin' stupid" on repeat... iTunes of course...

i haven't seen a lot of drawings of monitors... so i thought i would doodle one. i should be sleeping for next week or so.... email me, or leave me some feedback here. liked? hated? eyesore? nothing in-between, please.... ;-)

oh, and if you are bored, go look at my homepage at mac.com. iTools is the most genius, ever... even for a computer illiterate like myself... "and then i go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like 'i love you'"

tylenol p.m. kicking in.... g'night... :-)

Personally, I like the Apple monitors the way they are now; it is a really elegant design.

my eyes half closed.... i love that cinema display.... the proportion seems right... but smaller monitors look like the legs are too big.. something seems off... maybe it's just me...

i had the first 15" lcd from apple... and it was the best.... went up and down and swivel-ed... ;-) let'em dance.. i said..... thank you for your post....

It was that deep purple color wasn't it? Anway, I do like your design of the new PowerMac though. You should keep the swing door as in your original mock-up; it would be really cool to see the door swing open instead of dropping down.

yes.. it was that purple one.. i connected it to my cable box (or vcr) and used it as a t.v. for a while.... it was so practical.. it swinged... and swivel-ed, etc.. up and down.... the best....

but don't you think my monitor drawing will go well with the computer (this suppose to have that swing door too) i drew? :-) smokey black and brushed steel.......

    g'night!

I think you could have something with the monitor... I like the way you can move it abouth ala iMac.

I don't like you PM though. Sorry. Screws to open the side? so 2001.

The whole concept of the monitor to swivil and move is a good idea, but it just reminds too much of the new iMac. I think that you just need to try to redefine the stand a little to not make it look as much like the iMac.

    hello!

it just seemed logical... first came the box, circle and triangle..... and triangle being the most stable... DON'T TIP OVER..... ;-)

perhaps you are right..... but it's apple... all sort of look alike for few seasons.... then make over...

oh, lunch time.. maybe i will doodle again....

    stop me...... :-)

ProtoDAda, if you do another doodle, post it on here right away. I want to see what you come up with. You are in the right direction with the old swivel concept of Apple's first LCD monitor, but it just needs to be be redefined as I have stated above.

Personally, I like the design of the current models better.

I DO thnk that Apple's next iteraton should be brushed metal and polished metal under clear plastic.
