If you have an Apple ID for iTunes different than your Apple ID for iCloud, iOS7 is a nightmare.
It is? I have that and haven't noticed any increased problems from iOS6. Indeed it's not really much of a problem at all, save from having to remember two sets of login info. Could be improved by allowing users to merge iCloud and iTunes account of course, but people have been asking for that for years.

I guess this will be a huge benefit for selling to carriers in some countries. Hypothetically carriers could use it to meet governmental restrictions on access to things like FB or Twitter. Think Middle Eastern carriers or China.

It's a decent release of a great OS, but let's not get lost in hyperbole.  There are  a lot of things that iOS7 changed that were previously 'okay' and the act of changing them can be considered provocative vs innovative.  I do think they swung a bit too hard on the UI, and 7.1 will nudge them back.

As for apps that are broken, for the most part there are non-Apple alternatives to all of them.   The OS was FREE (and you get what you pay for); let's not get our panties in an uproar over a FREE upgrade.

New HW and New SW...  always a good reason to wait (or expect problems) until the .1 release.   This goes back to dark (Black NeXT:-) ) days.

And fix the sync issue w iPad 3's.

    And stop the Safari crashes.

    And redo Calender's GUI

Disagree on the first three.  Well, Safari has crashed a few times on me, which IS annoying, but it's hardly some constant occurrence.

But I couldn't agree more with the Calendar GUI.  It flat out sucks and is very unlike Apple.
