Well I got cable modem finally. Got 160 Megs or RAM for my PB G3 and I got a PS2. I watched the greatest movie ever made by man (Mallrats ) and I got into movies. I was offered two jobs at Video Game stores and I got myself a new camera.

Eh, I read the story about that on slashdot... did you really put the monitor in w/ the tower?

    That's not a good idea ...

also try putting in enough padding, (e.g. use original packaging materials)

    13. Some say he had his son teach the class.

    15. Although there were only 10 requirements, most of his students failed his tests.

    16. His office hours were infrequent and usually held on a mountain top.

    17. No record of working well with colleagues.

Wandered at loss for hours around the web in search for an AI alternative... finally settled for the macnn forums (unhappily)... just to be somewhere... Checked if AI was back several times a day... then less often... then gave up... discovered Thinksecret...And that I didn't hate mosr that much afterall... Then: suddenly read about AI being back... And now I'm back with you!

no, not really, despite heavy accusations and name calling and personal attacks of an , ahem, less gentlemanlike kind took place. But it wasn't worth entering anyway. It went off topic and off base, and lacked sense too soon.

I felt a bit offended and insulted without having provoked those attacks. Kids! What can I say, just kids.

    Well I just started posting

When AI went down, I found BadFlamingo and started posting there. Now that AI is back, I registered and here I am.

It's amazing the traffic here compared to BadFlamingo; although I thank BF for the "dark months" AI was gone. Still plan on posting there, but everyone has come back here.

No shed! You actually did pull her in the end?

Why did you break up? Was she a slut? Tell us...

As for myself, to prove that I do not just live through the life of others , my girlfriend went of to Bilbao (Spain) for a year and I'm going over there in January.

Didn't manage to knock her up though, unlike some people and their respective wives

Actually, that's a good thing, she's in college. I'm counting on her to bring in the millions while I house-sit within the next five years or so...

    - My daughter now walks on four

    - I am 1 year older (since 6 months ? )

    - I dropped my pseudo (Silverscreen)

    - I now use Os X.1.1 as full time OS

    - I got my Titanium and sold my PM G4

    - I sold my AAPL too (for Titanium)

    - I removed any earrings and no more dye my hair

    Maybe I am growing old

I agree with Kate, AppleInsiders are much more gentlemen than MNN addicts. Why ? You must have finally succeded at teaching AI guys how to behave.

I got fired from JL Audio (after 6 years) and currently unemployed.

Consequently, all dreams have been put on hold indefinitely.

I have since moved from FL to CA to live with my parents for a little while.

Since I wasn't a big poster here before, most people probably don't give a damn about what's changed with me but here goes:

    1) Sold My iBook (needed money for a car)

    2) Shut down my online used mac website (apparently most people didn't like the idea of a business where i buy a mac on ebay then sell it to them for $300 more).

    3) Got my driver's license(sp?)

    4) Became a Junior in Highschool

    5) Using money from the iBook sale and my job, bought a Jag.

    6) Have many more friends now (see #5)

    7) Replaced logic board in G4 400 (PCI Graphics) NEVER OVERCLOCK!!!

    8) Came out of retirement to join the Varsity basketball team.

Oh yes, the last 6 months have been interesting.

I joined AI as AAPLRulz back in 1998 when I was 15, but I quit messing with the forums pretty soon there after until lately. When I got to college and suddenly had a superfast dial-up, my interest was rekindled. I just discovered the forums had reopened while poking around the web over thanksgiving. So, reflecting my Graphite iBook, I registered this name.
