While some things change, AI always stays the same. (Same page since June. )

Will AppleInsider.com start being updated now? Or will publication still be resuming soon?

    It's coming.

Look for it within a few weeks.

    (back with a bang, too)

Alright guys. Don't worry about the news not coming back. We have a team of writers and some pretty damn hot rumors for everyone coming. Just give them a little time for everything to get ironed out.

And hopefully we won't have the "Resuming Publications" message up for a long, long time...

    Speculating over a rumors site

Ah, it's good to be back...

Oh, and btw, the message already has been up there for a long, long time. I'd be surprised if the site doesn't have permanent screen burn.

So what do we think AI's first new article will be about, the return of the Newton?
  • Reply 10 of 24
the first new article posted will be about the rebirth of the Cube. long live the Cube!

though that might mean that AI never resumes publication. hm \

My guess is that the first rumour article will be about the new and upcoming multiple button mouse... seriously

Nope, not me. I've been speculating for months on when AI will be back up. And imagine that, I was right on target, thanks to a few tips from MacNN

I sure hope it comes back. I loved Appleinsider. The only rumor site that was ever right. Not the humor on MOSR.

I remember speculating about when AI was going to start again, then the "Update Coming Soon" message. Then the forums disappeared. A dark cloud settled over me, forced out of AI, I wandered the web for forty days. I finally started posting on MacAddict, and Ambrosia. Then when I was very board I clicked on my MacNN button. Holy Hannah! At the top of the page it said the AI boards were opining up! Home at last, free at last.

Anywho... I hope AI posts soon, having only The Register, ATAT, and MOSR, is kinda hard. Glad you are back!

Will these writers, like most submitting to <a href="http://www.macosrumors.com"; target="_blank">rumor sites</a>*, be contenders for a Nebula Award for outstanding contribution to Fantasy Fiction? Oh, <a href="http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/0006/apple-mouse.shtml"; target="_blank">wait</a>...

    * Did anyone else notice that once the front page was updated, the iDVD2Box article somehow didn't make it to the <a href="http://www.macosrumors.com/index.php?view=recent"; target="_blank">archives</a>?

    Don't forget the <a href="http://arstechnica.infopop.net/OpenTopic/page?a=frm&s=50009562&f=8300945231"; target="_blank">Macintoshian Achaia</a>

I noticed! And they didn't reply to my e-mail which gave instructions on how to search <a href="http://www.google.com"; target="_blank">Google</a> for iDVD2Box or whatever it was called. The real site was top of the list! MadeUPRumors.com more like it.
