I dont know about you guys, but I feel Apple's ads from Chiat/Day are lackluster. The iPod one is annoying to me, it's painful to watch...So lets awaken our creativity and show ourselves Apple is wasting alot of money on Chiat/Day, lets see your Apple ad!
Comments
Apple's current "marketing" (or, rather, LACK of it) is infuriating...our absolute worst here would mop the floor with Chiat/Day's last 3 or 4 efforts for Apple.
I'd like to extend that to "Total cost of ad: £1500. Including laptop and video camera." Then have some kind of offer on ibooks and dv camcorders.
Gee Sinewave, iTunes only deletes your hard drive at 16x? You must have a slow mac.

My Hard Drive still has the debug code still in it
Those are friggin' hilarious, sinewave, beautiful work.

So your saying some books are good with pictures grover?
P.S. They've gotten better since "Rip. Mix. Burn.", "Middle Seat," AND "Elope." The iPod one sucks though.
Cool thing is it got a mention one day on As The Apple Turns.
The scene opens with a plane flying, the camera zooms out and you see a teenage boy playing fly 2k. The sister walks in demands to have the TiBook, the boy refuses, only to be quelled by his father's command.
The daughter snatches it and sits on the couch surfing the internet wirelessly. She does alot of stuff showing the UI of OSX off, say, by using Office X....
The next morning the father, a scientist, uses the TiBook at work to do all these unixy types of things.
A voice then says "Macintosh, it spans your digital life" well, something like that.
Now, in this commercial we show how flexible the mac is for play, internet, and serious work. Im sure you guys can do better, this one took me 5 seconds in my head
How bout Apple make an ad where that Steve kid is talking about Dell's and somebody runs out and hits him over the head with an iBook?
Thats actually a really good idea. I'm going to make it tomorrow in Quicktime Pro. I'll post it as soon as its done.
