Yeah, I shouldn't have relied on SAMSUNG'S SITE to find out this information.
I guess they are liars, silly me.
No you should have at least considered that the numerous people like me and others telling you there was a 128GB card that showed as 128 GB was at least a possibility before you embarrassed yourself and told us we were wrong. This is not about Samsung's website this is about your hubris.
AutoCAD 360 might be decent for viewing and minor creation, but is by no means equal to a complete CAD software running on a U series Intel Core i5.
Yes, the iPad Air is lighter than the Surface Pro (about half the weight in fact), but these devices will be used in different scenarios for different purposes. The Surface Pro is very much a niche product.

It's about relying on Samsung who have proved, once again that they are unreliable, lying scum and random strangers are a better source of information about their own products.

Gotcha.
Yup, Samsung is even better then they say. They underpromise and overdeliver, those lying scum! " src="http://forums-files.appleinsider.com/images/smilies//lol.gif" />
Although SD cards have some use, I personally would find it odd to have more than half my data on such an easily losable external drive, better the cloud. That said none of these companies are covering themselves in glory with regards to internal memory.

SD cards are pretty much the normal for all digital cameras nowadays. In any case once you plop in that 128GB card why would you ever want to take it out again?

That's the main use case I see for SD cards. Serious photographers, or even casual photographers while on trips, need to have removable storage. But then, good as phone cameras are getting, they're not going to catch up to quality cameras without some sort of breakthrough in optics.

What are you talking about? Once you install it you will likely never remove it again until you perhaps sell the phone.

And video takes up even more space.
We aren't comparing the Galxy or SD cards to cameras though. The discussion was about the S4 vs the new 8GB iPhone 5c. And I would much prefer to have a 128 GB card on a vacation for photos and videos than 5.4GB free space.

You wouldn't except maybe when you are ready to sell the phone. I don't know why people say such stupid comments. You would think they have never used a flash card. You can transfer data by wireless or via a USB cable attached to the phone but would rarely if ever have a reason to remove a 128GB card once installed.
I own an iPhone and I want an SD card so sue me. If Apple releases a 128 GB iPhone 6 is will largely be a non-issue but until then....

To load the images onto your iPad and upload them to Facebook or Instagram, a 24 megapixel selfie is a good selfie, playful kittens look wonderful and meals look fantastic.

Like a phone sold as 16GB only having 8 usable GB.
Like a phone sold as 16GB only having 8 usable GB.
Less is more and all that stuff, right?
Using your figures and the article stating that an 8GB iPhone 5C offers 3.7 GB less storage then the 16 GB S4 would mean that an 8GB iPhone 5C only has 4.3 GB of useable storage. 4.3 GB of useable storage out of 8 GB. Highway robbery! ZOMG Apple are unreliable, lying scum and random strangers are a better source of information about their own products!

The usable space is 3.7 GB less than the 16 GB Galaxy S4 which has 8.56 GB of usable space. Therefore, the iPhone 5C 8GB has 4.86 GB of usable space, not 4.3 GB. This is just a minor correction, but it's still a very small amount of space.

There are 12 inches in a foot. Excellent reporting AI!
He's saying that SD cards are as archaic as floppy disks.
Well, he's way off then..
a 15x11x1 mm package with 128GB capacity and 250MB/s write rate, fast enough to capture 4K video and super low power consumption...
more like bleeding edge...

I don't miss card storage. But then again, I haven't had an 8GB iPhone since 2009.
AutoCAD 360 for iPad by AutoDesk
The iPad is much lighter than a Surface Pro to carry around when doing fieldwork, its battery probably lasts a lot longer too.

The rony is that Samsung also has an SD card slot. Of course it has been castrated by Android, but hey it has one right?
Care to explain?
