Look like the Mac OS

And even though the "Sosumi" theme listed there looks like my OS X Sosumi theme I didn't make it. But I know who did.

Those OS X themes are so bad. It's like an insult to Apple.

All the ones that look like Aqua really SUCK. What's worse than Aqua? A really bad hack of Aqua.

    Hilarious.

    My favorite XP "Theme"?

Right-click the desktop, select Properties, click the Themes tab, and choose Windows Classic from the drop-down list....har.

That Sosumi one is pretty nice, using it now. The minimize bar is way too wide, though. yeesh.

Speak to TheRoadWarrior over at Macmonkey. He is the one that made it. Not bad for his first theme.

    Cool.

I'm using Watercolor (the one that didn't end up shipping with XP ) now. Anything to make the window widgets smaller makes me a happy guy.

Very nice work for your first time out, RW.

I've learned alot about the "engine" that draws the GUI in Windows and it's actually pretty retarded compared to how the MacOS does things (I did a few themes for Kaleidoscope a few years ago and it was much easier).

For example, the application windows, the "explorer" windows, tabbed windows, etc. are all different and require different graphics for each.

I think that Microsoft went too far with the default color schemes. You don't want the GUI screaming "Look at Me!" when you're trying to work

    Thanks for the comments, BTW.

BTW, here's a link to a fixed file (made the minimize lines smaller and fixed a few bugs when changing the pixel depth of the title bar).

While Kaleidoscope was easy to make themes.. the Extras.rsrc has over 600 pxms pict resources. I am sure it's just as much as a cluster**** as XP's
