I just saw it on MTV. They had a special on the Family Values tour and inside the LP tour bus they had a flat panel Apple Studio Display! Very cool, Linkin Park is one of my favorite bands.
Linking Park, Papa roach, Limp bisexuals, they're all just N-SYNC style boy bands with guitars.
Wake up people, the music indusrty knows that the boy-band formula works well with little girls, so they take the same formula, add loud guitars and hey presto.
Linkin Park: They are OK-ish. But by no means are they band of the year [uploads to iPod just to confirm...]
What MarcUK says is true. But with one distintion: they are boy bands for boys <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" /> . And more talented than N-SYNC

that's arguable. it's not rocket science to play Linkin Park's music. 3 or 4 power chords, a basic bass line and some loud drums.... I'm not so sure I would put them ahead of Nsync as far as talent

Applenut: if you think Linkin Park isn't that talented by only playing only 3-4 power chords then great artists and bands such as the Beatles, Tom Petty, and many songs from bands like Rolling Stones and Arosmith wouldn't be considered talent.
And in so saying that N'Sync has more talent than these just cannot be right by any means. I'm not saying N'Sync doesn't have talent, afterall they can remember 2 1/2 hours of coreography and sing at the same time, but still in terms of musical talent N'Sync isn't even close.

please, you can't be affiliated legends with one hit crap, can you? it's funny how all the groups you mentioned are made up of extremely great musicians. how about you look at lyrical content. not even close with the people you mentioned. your comparison is a joke.
