How is it written, officially? Roman numerals all the way, or is Apple's official numbering in the modern Arabic form?

It's officially "Mac OS X v10.1", AFAIK.

so... is MacOS X to signal a new operating system? But then why did they start at 10 and not at 1? Will it be MacOS X 11?
Seeing that Apple insists to pronounce it "TEN" and not "EXX", it would be Mac OS TEN ELEVEN. Duh.
Or will the call it MacOS XI 11?
Either way this makes no sense...

Windows XP makes a lot more sense than MacOSX 10.1
After that there will be Windows.NET and MacOSX 11.
Umm, riiiight.
Maybe we'll end up with MacOSX 10.9.9.9.9.9.9.9.9.9.98 in 15 years.
