Gates had a press conference the very same day with press reporters...but all their questions had to be pre-submitted and reviewed by the M$ spinners...hers weren't.
Okay, that's good for a 15 year-old, granted. I was looking for, "Where do you see your competition in 5 years?" types of probing. She was almost there though!

[quote]Sarah: And finally, does your computer ever crash?
Bill: Oh definitely, believe me I get to the bottom of it every time and that's part of the passion that I and a lot of Microsoft people have is we want to make a tool that we want to use ourselves and we know from our own use we can make it a lot better and a lot more reliable.<hr></blockquote>
OK, so he thinks part of the "passion" of being a WinBlows user is fixing your computer day after day, crash after crash? What kinda freakin' moron would want to fix crashed computers all day unless it was your job? Why even buy the stinking thing?
[quote]Sarah: Your company is now a household name but some people claim you have a monopoly on the IT industry. How do you react to that?
Bill: Well Microsoft has had its success by doing low-cost products and constantly improving those products and we've really redefined the IT industry to be something that's about a tool for individuals.<hr></blockquote>
Yeah, how about the poor family that has two kids, or a kid and a working parent that need to use Word every night for school/work but have to spend almost $1000 for two copies of the damn thing? What if they don't know about EDU discounts becasue they always just buy everything at some lame local store trying to milk them for every penny? A$$hole Gates. Cheap my a$$. Only thing cheap about Micro$oft products is the quality of the product.

Kill Gates! End it now!
<strong>Hmm. Good questions. Nubile 15-year old. Nice hair. Nose is funky.

I find her nose okay and her hair a little drap.
If she learns to be more aggressive with followups she could be a good investigative reporter.
As for Bill... *sigh*. Dodge, BS, dodge, BS...

DAMN!
[quote]Sarah: And finally, does your computer ever crash?

Remember the ex-president's deposition....compare it to Gates'. Except of course that Gates got rattled....
Not that Blair would do anythign about it, he asked Gates for advice so it shows how much he knows.
The world's most powerful man was reduced to saying "I don't know."
How so?

I think he means beyond ViaVoice type crap. You know, actually using the operating system with words.
"Play Lenny Bruce at Carnegie Hall (too loud, turn it down a little), check my utexas e-mail and open up TheRegister.com"
That kind of thing, not dictation. Macs aren't there yet, sorry.

I hope that rant was a farce because it had me laughing pretty hard.
