Don't lock threads because "you got your point across"

I think the whole point of a messageboard is to discuss things, you don't lock a thread as soon as someone posts it because they got their point across. The only threads I would lock are when the whole topic is about something against the agreement (porn, or something of the like) or when it turns into a personal flame-fest.

[EDIT: The truth train did not belong in Future Hardware, but it could have been moved, but I removed anything having to do with that from my post as it sounded kinda lame. ]

    In most cases you're absolutely right. With this he was just saying that he couldn't believe his thread got closed. I don't think that needs to be discussed. If one of the other mods don't agree with me then they can re-open it.

    I was fully aware that my second thread would be closed and that was the right thing to do. Just so you know, I posted it in Future Hardware because the truth train usually shows up there.

    Yeah, that's what I figured and that's why I didn't close it after I posted in it.
