Alright, I dunno if this is just my error or because my internet provider has really been acting up lately due to some chpt. 11 problems (excite@home). Anyway I cannot seem to get to the register's website. I have the addy bookmarked from like 6 months ago and has always worked till now. anybody with some info on why this could be happening?

    The Register laid off half its staff within the last two weeks, so it may well have gone titsup.com If it has, it is a great pity, as it was a wonderful site, and I would have been willing to pay to access it, if only they could have come up with some type of micropayments system.

    Actually they claim it was a DNS issue. They're back up.
