Blueprints of Apple?
Does anyone have any blueprints or general info on what the inside is generally like? What type of floors? Wood? Carpet? Walls? Any apple employees or people who have visited it willing to give up some info? Photos are nice.
This will be needed for a game, a very very cool game. I really can't say much more than that at the moment though
thanks a lot to anyone that can contribute anything, pictures of a frontdesk, what macs are used for the front office, what are standard use in the engineers offices etc.. are there candy machines?
we really want to make this game as real as possible, if anyone knows of some apple employees that could be showcased in here like Sal, Avie, whoever you guys have a photo of, then that would be cool.
again, thanks synotic@mac.com

Many of their interiors were done by Studios Architecture, and they have a monograph with some very 80s-ish designs for Apple along with other Silicon Valley interiors.

Yeah, architects have been put on alert for anyone strange asking for old .dwg files, bluelines, etc.

I say that because, Synotic - if you ape Apple's store designs in the manner you suggest, a lawsuit would surely be the result.
Fun, fun, fun, for everyone!
Cheers,
Mark.
... count me in as a beta tester!
I assume you're referring to the Apple campus at 1 Infinite Loop in Cupertino, not the Apple stores, correct?

Apple's lobby and stuff, by Gensler & Associates Architects:
[quote]Although plans for renovation of DeAnza 3 (denoting street name and number) at Apple Computer's triple-unit property in Cupertino, CA, already were under way, it took the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake to reinforce, so to speak, the need for extensive make-over. Not that the storm wrought total wreckage. But it shook up the building, and generally messed up the spaces occupied by the roughly-600-strong Networking & Communications Group.
Thus Gensler & Associates Architects, as part of a fourth-time assignment for same client, went ahead with remodeling of the ground floor containing two lobbies, cafeteria, auditorium, conference center and office space; and the three office/laboratory/R&D levels above.

I was going through my old Apple CDs and found the QTVR tour of Apple that Daniel mentioned on the Mac OS 8.5 CD. Among the areas included are the front entrance (from the sidewalk), the lobby, and the quad. It's got all sorts of cool hot spots like "Palmero's Saturn" and "Comfy chair"
[edit] You can now dowload it here.

C'mon, get a real design firm! This is obviously the legacy of Sculley's tenure. Yeck.
Someone get rid of PB G3's broken link... it's KILLING the formatting of this page!
But I digress, the lobby of Infinite Loop 1 is considerably nicer. Right now there's a giant QuickSilver banner hanging there, and a Monsters Inc. display of Sulley and Mike.
(Yes, Steve tries to promote Pixar movies at Apple).

thanks again, especially starfleet, I am going to try and find that cookie now
Fine,here's a direct pic.
I'd also like to mention that there are about 20 buildings in Cupertino and 6 on the main campus... at least from what someone told me. That was one starfleetx, now the others?

Infinite Loop 1 - 6.
Torre 2.
5 buildings on Valley Green Drive.
De Anza 3 and 7
Bubb 2 and Bubb 4
2 buildings on Bandley drive
That's 18 in Cupertino.
I don't know about Austin or Sacramento.
