I doubt there'll be a 4.7" 6C. Question is whether they'll build 3 new phones: 6 Air at 4.7" and 6s & 6c at 4". And what will the pricing look like? $749, 649, 549 with the Air starting with 32GB? Discontinue 5s and keep 5c at $449 or 399? Or will Apple do like what they did with the MBAir and start aggressively at $649 and really dig into the mid-range market?
Why waste time on a concept of a device that won’t be out until next year when we don’t even know this year’s device’s design? Or if the former design will even be continued?
In the absence of news from Apple, rumor sites fill the void with fanciful creations and speculations. This is the nature of the rumor industry.
Those do look great. Liking the 6c a lot too. Who knows what they are going to do with the "c" category this year. We know it'll be 5s internals, but a bigger screen? I doubt this year.
I hope there'd be no iPhone 6c, just plain iPhone 6 with all metal back in colors like iPod Touch. Yup.
20% increase is an insult to their calculations and Apple.
I don't think youre reading it right. a 20% increase in volume over last year's new product launch is very, very good. we would kill for increases that high.
Worry time for Samsung and others. High end luxury smart phones is where the money is.
iPhone 6 will be the best-selling smartphone on the planet.
And remember, this also will mean that the 5S is going to come down in price.
And the 5C presumably will come down in price.
Etc.
2014 = good times for Apple fans and stockholders.
And that is *without* any other major product announcements.
I would imagine the 5s being discontinued replaced with a black plastic body 5cs. I cannot see it making sense to keep the metal 5s at a discounted price.
Well if Apple release it in August; it has more selling time for the holidays. And then the 5.5" is release in September/October and another wave of buying. So it going to be a lot of sales since there will be two different size iPhones coming at different times to take up the momentum through out the holidays and into 2015!
Analyst Katy Huberty of Morgan Stanley recently took a trip to visit technology industry component suppliers, who shared their expectations for Apple's next iPhone.
I would love to know how this works? What power does an analyst from Morgan Stanley to walk into someones office and say "Tell me what your planning to do for Apple"? Why would they even let her in the building? If she is not talking with corporate heads, then who is she talking to and can their information be trusted? Obviously Apple doesn't want their suppliers to leak info to the press or anyone else, so all this information leak must really be driving them mad and risks the suppliers relationship with Apple. Just curious.
I'm thinking the 5S may disappear with the launch of the 6. I agree with the above post that the insides of the 5S with touch ID will become the 6c. Meanwhile the larger two new 6's need some name to differentiate them, maybe iPhone 6 and iPhone 6Air??
Either way I see it as medium, large and Phabulous!
Apple held onto the 4S for emerging markets, so maybe if they hold onto the 5c (instead of the 5S) they can fill that niche.

It part of Apple's marketing of the next generation iPhone. It happens every year on clue! LOL!
If the 6 looks like the one by Martin, I am definitely going to upgrade my 5S.

Not the “6C” design.

Martin doesn't work for Apple, so you are likely to be disappointed.

Agreed. I remember all the speculation about the name of the iPhone 5. " src="http://forums-files.appleinsider.com/images/smilies//lol.gif" />

... and the reason AI exists.
I think they would probably keep the Beats name but add "an Apple Company" like Google did with Motorola.
You missed my reply. Following the existing system, the 6C won’t be coming out until next year.

The only thing that could dampen it, will be the buyers waiting on the 5.5".
They might be be waiting a while, then.
The 5.5" will be an iPod Touch (or an iPad Nano).
20% or more, I would say.

Every iPhone launch becomes the 'biggest phone launch ever'.

Oh! The iPhone 5S will be also available for purchase too maybe discounted! So a lot of choices for iPhone buyers now! Three iPhones! Wow!

5sc.
Perhaps the new iPhone will be called ‘Apple's little ’elppa.’
