Where's Palisades? What is it? If Tech TV isn't showing it I'll probably show (hopefully they are, anyone know?).

The Palisades Mall in West Nyack NY. It's in Rockland County a few miles from the Tappan Zee Bridge. There is an Apple Store in their and they have a big screen TV where they will show the Keynote.

Oh, I thought it was some store in NYC, ohwell, hopefully Tech TV has it (although looking at the TV listings it doesn't look like it I may be relegated to the old 56k stream ...
Unfortunately I'll be pretty much right across the highway at school. I don't get out til 2 so that sucks and I'm almost positive my mom wouldn't let me miss school so it looks like I won't be able to be there even though I would love to.

techtv won't list it. it'll likely be shown during their "TechLive" show like last time.
EmAn,
take off. it's one day man. I do it everytime
I'm going to the Apple Market Center at the Citicorp building though
Heehee...since I wasn't able to go to Macworld this year (bastards...), I called the Fashion Valley San Diego Apple store location this morning and the woman said "yeah, we're showing it...get here early!".
so I went to my supervisor (who IS going...bastard...) and said "look, this sucks...I'm going to check out the keynote at the Apple Store next Monday...cool with you? I'll roll in here about noon or so...".
He signned my leave slip.
Figure it'll be a pretty nice way to watch it. With all this hype, I wasn't holding out much hope for getting to see the QuickTime webcast, due to all the traffic and stuff.
This will be much cooler! Plus, gets me out of work (if I was trying to actually watch it at work - with a sputtering, stalling stream - I'd get bugged with "can you mock up this quick logo?" or bullcrap like that all morning long and I'd end up stranging someone.
Just best all around that I'm not even in the building til the keynote's over.
hey, applenut, where did you find the sign-up page to the webcast at the citigroup building? I remembered that they usually have it posted on http://seminars.apple.com/ but i couldn't find it anywhere.
Tell them you're going to school, then I'll pick you up at the bus stop. I've got candy.
Actually I'll probably go to work and take a "long lunch break". So can you cut class at 11:30?

Too bad my bus stop is right outside of my house. And yeah, I actually could cut class around 11:30, actually 11:35. You know where Clarkstown South high school is?
My parents are letting me miss school for the Stevenote. They are letting me miss this time only because I am actually buying right after the keynote is over.

Not a clue. I know where route 87, the bridge, the mall and maybe route 9 are, but thats about it. I'm a Westchester dweller. The only thing I do in Rockland is go to the Palisades
Oh yeah and I can get to the Garden State Parkway woohoo.

Well just to let u know... if you ever look to the right when you're going north on 87 and you see the big tall stadium-like lights those are the lights on the field of my school and if you see a building with a parking lot before the Palisades Pkwy exit thats my school. Well now that I told you all that I'll be looking out for a stalker
After "way beyond" I don't know how you can possibly go to school!!
Do this: take a packet of oatmeal into the bathroom with you, pour it into the toilet, make some hacking coughing sounds and tell your mom you just puked. Then say you think its the flu, its going around at school.
Ask for some chicken soup and get in bed. By 12 you should be feeling well enough to get up and sit at your computer
Then at least you won't have to spend the day at school killing yourself to know whats going on.
Today after school I've been trying to convince my mom to pick me up from school at 11:35 and bring me over to Palisades. Right now it's not looking too good but she's easy to convince.

Gave them a call and they said they'll be showing it live. Woohoo!
Looks like I'll be taking an extra long lunch break next Monday.
Anyone else in NY gonna be there?

Riiiiight because I have nothing better to do then to stalk an AI poster in High School.

Although....look at the timing of my posts in relation to yours.
I'll be driving a large black van with tinted black windows. The license plate reads:
"chld mlestr"
When I pull up, jump in the sliding door quickly.
