nope...still won't load the apple store...keep getting the same message ("Did not receive any response from application. It is possible that the application does not exist (holy crap....the apple store doesn't exist....damn you Bill Gates and your demonic hoard....), or that the requested url is incorrect. )....feel like Richard Dreyfus in Close Encounters building the freakin devil's tower at the dinner table out of mashed potatoes....keep mutting to myself...."this is important....this means something....." g

The Apple Store. Open 24 hours a day every day, the Apple Store offers online convenience.

interesting...i tried using the links through the ADC Hardware purchase program, and its not working either...

Maybe Apple is switching over to their new 'PowerServer - 32 Node Apollo 1 GHz' servers. you know, the ones with 2TB of DDR, and a PetaByte backplane...

or maybe they're just removing the extended "0% interest loan through Jan 8th"

[quote]I would not want to be anywhere around him come Monday morning when he discovers that if he had waited three or four more days, he could have a prettier, faster, more tricked-out and cooler iMac for the same money he just dropped.<hr></blockquote>

That's why anyone in Canada who is worried about new hardware coming out soon after their purchase should buy at London Drugs. 30 day price protection is sweet when new hardware comes out after an Expo.

It got me $1000 in my pocket over the last year.

And "Count the days. Count the minutes. Count on being blown away." at the front page. Oh god. Don't let us down dammit!

You can still look at Apple's sites underpinnings <a href="http://a772.g.akamai.net/7/772/51/c67ff9458b7db5/www.apple.com/home/images/"; target="_blank">here</a>.

Note that for access to most of those photos, you need to manually 'add' them to the link. Like for example, if you wanted to access '12', you'd have to type it in after the current link in your browser window. It would then look like:

store still down.....i think they could have cleaned the puke out by now if it was just a wild new years party accident at apple....maybe phil schiller got drunk and took the apple store server home and is currently in the middle of "romantic engagement" with it??? g

the server will come back up soon, trying to fix it's makeup, smoking a cig and making new New Years resolutions not to cheaply go home with apple executives next year....

Just called the store... everything's down on their end too. The gal said something about generators going out. I've managed to hit 2 pages at the educations tore, but nothing with any meat.

How long can a man hold his breath under water?

How long can an AI´er live with the Apple store off line?
