listen, i have a friend who used to work on apple's ad account (no he doesn't work there anymore ) and NOTHING gets through without approval from upper-management. so these teasers aren't just being written by some guy in marketing and slapped up on apple's homepage. it's being approved by the guy on top. hi steve.

Just a thought... is apple legally allowed to do this if they DON'T have something that shareholders will believe lives up to the hype they created? the farther they go with this, the more my jaw drops.... i feel like someone kicked me in the groin right now... and frankly, it feels strangely good!
Actually I think Apple realised that the expectations on the rumor-sites are way out of hand compared to what Apple are able to deliver. I'm sure they have got some great stuf, but no G5 or LCD imacs. This is why they wright they go "beyond".

but yea, apple does goto great lengths to satisfy the consumer, at least sometimes, other times its nothing but crap upon crap
man...and I was doubting my stance on apple computers, if all this hype turns out to be worth it, then I'm soooo glad I own ALOT of aapl share
