    Well, if I may be optimistic, the only thing I've heard out of these forums, has been G5 rumors.... SO! If Apple says it's way beyond, I'm going to be expecting G5's, if not better.

    Read the movie Sphere? It didn't have subtitles the last time I watched it.

    If Apple made a spherical computer, I would seriously laugh my ass off all the way to the asylum.

    If you are referring to its plot...what about it? Getting sucked into the Sphere and having your imaginations become reality? I'm not sure I follow...Or if you imagine the Sphere does not exist, it goes away?

    Not really. Every page of the Apple site would have to go through an approval process (for typos if nothing else). The home screen would go through an extensive screening and certainly involve their advertising agency. Apple is too big to do this kind of stuff on the fly. All the pages right up to zero day were probably approved weeks ago.

    I'm really glad that people at Apple are keeping amused though. This kind of humour speaks well for where Apple sees itself in the near future. That reassures me more than any hints or wild-eyed speculation (but don't let me stop you!)

    Okay voice of reason here: New product type. Most of us are talking flat panel G4 iMac and G5 PM. It must then be something different. Perhaps well get them too but thats not what the message is about.

    Or perhaps they are referring to the front page of rumour sites not the message boards. They haven´t talking much about a G4 in the iMac.

    Or maybe we are all part of an CIA experiment. They want to know how many people they can kill by starting a wave of religous exhaustion.

    That's it. I just have to post this...

    It all makes sence now. It all adds up:

    Keynote held in San Fran.

    "Big, even by our stadards"

    "Blown away"

    "Beyond the rumor sites"

    It's just gotta be the new iPenis. None of the rumor sites have thought this one up. This BIG puppy is sure to BLOW you away with its g4gasm technology.

    Ok, everybody laughed when I posted my (reasoned) predictions a few days ago. I should be the one laughing now. Check them out again at:

    <a href="http://bayarea.net/~kins/AboutMe/MWSF2002.html"; target="_blank">http://bayarea.net/~kins/AboutMe/MWSF2002.html</a>;

    Maybe I should up the ante even, to play it safe.
