Radio in Apple i phone

How come Apple never installed a FM radio in any of their i phones?

    That’s just one more antenna (and a chip to process it) in a device already laden with them. Even Apple probably couldn’t shoehorn one in.

    A few years ago it might have made sense, but now one can get FM stations from all over the world streamed via various apps.

    They've managed to stick an FM receiver in the iPod Nano, and in an earphone remote clip before; I'm near certain that the technology isn't the problem, it's just that Apple doesn't want to do it.

    I've managed to remain cap free as of now.
