Is the new 3-day slogan on Apple.com

Hmm...

Edit: This new slogan is making me reconsider thinking that the G5 was not going to debut at MWSF.

"Now free* with every Mac you purchase: 2 tickets on the USS Macintosh, Apple's literal Mothership which will take you and a friend to Fruitopia--a new joint-venture between Apple Computer and the Fruitopia Beverage Company. Fruitopia is a Mac-user-only planet in a far-off galaxy where Macs rule and PCs are eerily gone. Completely."

Okay, I need sleep. I'm starting to not make any sense.

I'll give it 10 minutes. Just after I clicked the button to post this thread I said: "Shoot, this was supposed to go in AppleOutsider!"

where had a PC not gone before? -To OS X land! The most obvious guess is that this line refers to the X on intel thing.

-Curious though, what makes everyone think the apple home page contains some sort of riddle?

Hmm, well it sure seems like they're taunting and teasing the hardcore rumor people by posting slogans that keep hinting at something. Of course this entire ad campaign could have been decided on months ago and it's just us who are making it seem like it means oh so much.

"To go where no PC has gone before."

Could this be clearly stating that OSX has been ported?

Whoops... someone said that already.. Geesh, I write my reply and there's 100 stinkin' new messages on the thread.

    Shouldn't you all be asleep?!

I really hope it hasn't. Because that means I paid nearly $2,000 more for a laptop that runs OS X than I had to for one with similar specs. I think porting OS X to windows would kill Apple since they make the most money on hardware...don't they?
